When are times good anymore?
Times as difficult as these,
she finds it hard
to find any happy times anymore.
Lost and searching for
things to help her out of bad times,
there is much trouble deciphering
bad times from good times.
The question of ‘when?’
becomes a question of ‘If?’
and the answer is ‘never to be seen again.’
Be happy;
To be happy amidst these times?
Has the writer of this verse
not lived a life at all?
Does he realize how hard it is
to find happiness at all in this world?
She is still searching for happiness
to help her survive in this life.
