only to awaken, reminded by pain
my body curls and then
i start to cry... insane
i remember it's been a month
since i realized that you were
i've never had these pains before
only now but they're forever
you say it'll be over in a few
only the physical pains, though
the emotional pains are here to stay
my body now limp in no one's arms
the pain is gone for now
unfortunately it will return
when you leave again, somehow.
