Moving In Hexagons

Living the life you've left me to live
Being as much myself as I can
You took something from inside of me
Now do you feel like a bigger man?

Never sleeping or at ease to be
Always watching, looking out for you
Behind corners, in dark alleyways
I can't be alone without fear, too

Nightmares haunt my sleep during the night
Faces laughing, hurting. I feel pain.
In my dreams you're a friend, not stranger
My friends don't hurt me so my soul rains

What did you hope to gain that dark night?
Satisfaction? Power over me?
I try to keep my focus forward
Memories cloud my sight, I can't see

voices follow everywhere I go
you took my sanity and my trust
Not a minute goes by without you
But I will move on because I must
